Features of the Diploma

The students are trained to anticipate and address relevant concerns and issues.
The communication skill is an index of the course as a designer the diploma holder needs extra confidence while talking to her buyer , while presenting her designs, while talking about her future designs
The students are made expert enough to design, draw & layout plans, elevations, perspectives. colouring & rendering, free hand sketching & work details.
The knowledge of constructional methods, techniques & finishing treatments in executing interior design work.
Understands the various elements of services such as water supply , plumbing, weather control electrification, telephones, garbage, disposal and lifts from interior point of view.
Knowledge of furniture designing & fabric supervision.
knowledge of furnishing, floor coverings, light fittings and other relevant accessories based on quality & cost consideration.
knowledge of preparing estimates.
Field visits and internship with furniture industries, Export houses, and other processing houses is an integral part of the diploma strengthens the knowledge base of students, imparting design, technical & marketing skills
craft surveys
exposed to craft environment are included in the course
